Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Concert hall at Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, United Kingdom
The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall features a curved stone exterior and houses a main auditorium accommodating 2475 attendees and a Strathclyde Suite for 400 guests.
Architect Leslie Martin designed the concert hall, which opened its doors on October 5, 1990, marking a new chapter in Glasgow's musical landscape.
The venue serves as the permanent residence of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and presents approximately 250 performances spanning classical, jazz, and contemporary genres annually.
The concert hall operates from Monday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with nearby parking available at Concert Square and Buchanan Galleries.
The City of Music Studio within the concert hall provides an intimate performance space for 50 people, complementing the main auditorium's grand capacity.
