The Pavilion Theatre on Renfield Street features Rococo plasterwork, terrazzo flooring, leadlight glazing, and mahogany wood finishing throughout its interior spaces.
The theatre opened its doors on February 29, 1904, under the name Pavilion Theatre of Varieties, designed by British architect Bertie Crewe.
The venue became the Scottish National Theatre of Variety in 2007, maintaining its tradition of presenting pantomimes, comedy shows, and musical performances.
The theatre accommodates 1,449 spectators and stands near Cowcaddens and Buchanan Subway stations, providing convenient access for visitors.
Famous performers who graced the stage during its early years included Marie Lloyd, Harry Lauder, and Charlie Chaplin.
