Garrick's Eyot, River island in Thames, England.

Garrick's Eyot consists of 20 houses spread across a small island in the River Thames, positioned 330 meters upstream from Tagg's Island.

During the 18th century, the island supported local industries through willow tree cultivation, providing wood for cricket bats, paddles, and various tools.

The island bears the name of actor David Garrick, whose Temple to Shakespeare stood on the Hampton bank, marking a connection to British theater history.

Residents and visitors can only reach the island by boat, as no bridges or alternative transportation methods connect it to the mainland.

The willow trees on the island produced strong, flexible branches called osiers, which workers used for making baskets and reinforcing riverbanks.
