Gunby Hall

Gunby Hall is a Georgian country house with three stories, red brick walls, and symmetrical windows framed by detailed stone ornaments. The building stands within extensive grounds that include formal gardens, a kitchen garden, and an orchard spread across the property.

Sir William Massingberd commissioned the house in 1700, establishing it as the family's primary residence for generations to come. The estate remained in family hands across the centuries, with each generation adding their mark to the property.

The gardens display traditional English landscape design with formal beds, a working kitchen garden, and fruit trees scattered across the grounds. These spaces show how the family lived and worked with the land over centuries.
