Harris Garden, Botanical garden at University of Reading, England
The Harris Garden extends across 12 acres featuring multiple ponds, a stream, formal gardens, heather sections, wildflower meadows, and coppiced woodland areas.
The garden stands on the former grounds of The Wilderness Victorian house, within a landscape created between 1798 and 1819 by George Spencer.
The garden received its name from Professor Tom Harris, a notable palaeobotanist who contributed extensively to the University of Reading's academic legacy.
Visitors can access the garden daily from 8:00 am until dusk, with parking available on weekends and after 5:00 pm on weekdays.
The Flower Stream incorporates natural stone bridges and specific plant selections that support local pollinating insect populations throughout the seasons.
