Holgate Windmill, Grade II listed windmill in Holgate, York, England.
The five-sailed tower mill stands as a prominent structure with white walls, reaching multiple stories high and featuring traditional wooden machinery inside.
Constructed in 1770, the mill operated continuously until 1933, utilizing different power sources including wind, steam, and electricity throughout its operational years.
The Holgate Windmill Preservation Society organizes regular community events, milling demonstrations, and educational programs to maintain local milling traditions.
