Heaven is a nightclub beneath the railway arches of Charing Cross station with several rooms, advanced lighting systems, and separate dance floors for different music genres. The rooms extend under the tracks and each offers its own sound system and stages for live acts.
The venue opened in December 1979 after converting from a roller disco into the first major gay club in London and set new standards for LGBTQ+ entertainment spaces. It became a central meeting point for the British gay community during the 1980s.
