Hunter's Hill Stone

Hunter's Hill Stone is a standing stone near Glamis village with a height of approximately 1.5 m and carefully carved designs on both front and back. The surface features both shallow carvings and raised relief work, creating a layered decorative effect.

This monument belongs to Class II Pictish stones, which date to the early medieval period when Christianity began to influence stone carving traditions in Scotland. This era marked a turning point when local artistic practices began to absorb new religious influences.
