Insole Court, Gothic Revival mansion in Llandaff, Wales.
The sandstone mansion features an embattled medieval tower, geometric tracery, ornate gardens, and multiple wings reflecting various construction periods from 1855 onwards.
Built for coal industry leader James Harvey Insole, the residence underwent major expansions in the 1870s before becoming Cardiff's Air Raid Warden headquarters during World War II.
The mansion's Smoking Room displays an original canvas frieze depicting four seasons, while the library contains Gothic ribbed paneling with gilt decorative elements.
The mansion houses the Potting Shed Café and offers five rental spaces for events, including the Carriage House Hall and Drawing Room for weddings.
The first-floor library and Smoking Room maintain their Victorian furniture and decorations, representing one of Cardiff's most complete period interiors.
