Lake Farm Country Park, Public park in Hayes, England
Lake Farm Country Park extends across 60 acres of green belt land, bordered by trees and the Grand Union Canal in south Hayes.
The land functioned as part of Botwell Common until 1814, when it was divided into parcels with substantial portions acquired by John Baptist Shackle.
The park features a skylark sculpture created by Ben Dearnley, who served as the Official Olympic Artist during the 2012 London Olympics.
Visitors can access the park through ten pedestrian entrances and two bridleway entrances, with informal parking available on the drive to the main car park.
The park provides essential habitat for skylarks, a species recognized under the UK Biodiversity Action Plan due to population decline.
