Knowsley Hall, Grade II* listed house in Merseyside, England.
Knowsley Hall is a historic manor house in Merseyside with several wings built of red brick. The oldest surviving parts date to 1495, while the largest extensions were added during the 1720s.
The Stanley family has occupied the estate continuously for over six centuries. Thomas Stanley received the title Earl of Derby in 1485, marking the beginning of a long aristocratic line.
Builder Thomas Stanley received his title through supporting Henry VII at the Battle of Bosworth Field. The family continues to use part of the building as a residence, while other areas remain open to guests.
The estate can accommodate up to 36 overnight guests and offers spaces for corporate gatherings, weddings and private celebrations. The grounds cover roughly 1000 hectares and provide ample room for outdoor exploration.
The water features and lakes were designed by Capability Brown in the 1770s, one of the most renowned landscape architects of the 18th century. His work transformed the grounds into a harmonious blend of nature and architecture.
