Llancillo Church

The church structure features sandstone walls with tufa dressings, incorporating a chancel, nave, and south porch beneath a slate-covered roof.

The chancel dates from the late 11th century, while substantial modifications occurred in the 17th century, including new windows and roof structures.

The church contains a 13th-century font, a 17th-century pulpit, and multiple stone monuments commemorating members of the Scudamore family.

Located 12 miles southwest of Hereford, the church building stands in isolation within the parish, accessible through rural roads.

One of the two bells in the bell-cote exhibits an unusually long, slender form, indicating its origin in the 13th century.
