Lord's Pavilion, Cricket pavilion in Westminster, England

The Victorian-style pavilion at Lord's Cricket Ground features ornate architectural details, symmetrical design, and traditional timber elements across its grand two-story structure.

Built in 1889 to replace the previous structure destroyed by fire, the pavilion emerged as a central element of English cricket administration and match organization.

The Long Room within the pavilion displays an extensive collection of cricket paintings and serves as a passage where players enter the ground before matches.

The pavilion maintains strict dress regulations, requiring men to wear tailored coats with ties and women to wear dresses or formal trousers with appropriate shoes.

Albert Trott remains the only cricket player who managed to hit a ball over the top of the pavilion during a match in 1899.
