Museum of Power, Industrial heritage museum in Langford, England

The Museum of Power operates from a former water pumping station, displaying machinery, tools, and equipment related to power generation through the centuries.

Built in 1924 by Thomas and Charles Hawksley, the Langford Pumping Station used steam engines until 1963 when electric pumps replaced the original system.

The museum maintains the Lilleshall triple expansion steam engine Marshall, which represents the industrial engineering achievements of early 20th century Britain.

The museum opens Wednesday through Sunday from 9:30 AM to 4 PM, with adult tickets at £7, concessions at £6, and children aged 5-15 at £3.50.

The museum grounds include a miniature railway, model village Astaria, and seven acres of riverside walks along the Rivers Chelmer, Ter, and Blackwater.
