National Motorcycle Museum, National motorcycle museum in Solihull, England
The National Motorcycle Museum contains more than 1000 British motorcycles spanning a century of manufacturing, arranged chronologically across five exhibition halls.
Founded in October 1984 by construction entrepreneur Roy Richards, the museum initially displayed 350 machines before expanding its collection over subsequent decades.
The museum presents a detailed chronicle of British motorcycle manufacturing excellence through exhibits from manufacturers including BSA, Triumph, Norton, and Coventry-Eagle.
Located near Birmingham Airport and the National Exhibition Centre, the museum offers conference facilities with 13 purpose-built suites accommodating up to 1000 attendees.
The collection includes the Brough Superior Golden Dream motorcycle, engineered by George Brough and Freddie Dixon for vibration-free running performance.
