The school brings together craftspeople from across the Commonwealth, the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom who share a passion for metalworking. This international community gathers to learn and exchange knowledge about traditional forging practices.
Visitors should know that most courses run for several weeks to several months and involve intensive hands-on work. It is important to check in advance which programs are available and what physical demands they involve.
The school operates a dedicated demonstration forge area that can accommodate up to 36 spectators at a time to watch traditional blacksmithing work being performed. This space also showcases various modern welding techniques including MIG, MAG, TIG, and MMA methods that are important in contemporary metalwork.
