Mycenae House

Mycenae House is a community center in Westcombe Park housed in a restored former convent building with multiple rooms for activities, events, and gatherings. The building stands next to Woodlands House and offers various spaces suited to different types of events.

The Little Sisters of the Assumption built this building in 1933 as a novitiate house for their community. It became a public facility in 1967.

The center serves as a gathering place where neighbors participate in music classes, concerts, educational programs, and community meetings throughout the year. Local residents regularly use the space to meet and spend time together.

The center is about 500 yards from Westcombe Park Station and has five parking spaces on site. Visitors can purchase scratch card vouchers to extend parking duration if needed.

The property adjoins Mycenae Gardens, where grass areas and a small woodland section called The Dell offer space for local residents to relax and walk. This green area provides a quiet counterpoint to the community rooms.
