The October Gallery occupies a Grade II listed building with two exhibition spaces, a theatre, club room, and outdoor courtyard filled with diverse plant species.
Since its establishment in 1979, October Gallery has introduced numerous international artists from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America to the British art scene.
The gallery supports the Transvangarde movement through exhibitions featuring artists like El Anatsui, Rachid Koraïchi, and Romuald Hazoumè who explore global perspectives.
Located six minutes from Russell Square and Holborn stations, the gallery opens Tuesday through Saturday from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM with wheelchair accessibility.
The venue includes a professional sound studio and a Bechstein Grand Piano, enabling diverse performances and events alongside art exhibitions.
