Parc and Dare Hall

Parc and Dare Hall is a grade-listed theatre in Treorchy housing a 660-seat auditorium with sloped seating and curved balconies. The interior features detailed plasterwork decorated with fruit and flower motifs throughout.

The building was constructed in 1892 when mineworkers from nearby collieries pooled small portions of their wages to fund its creation. This effort reflected the community's desire for a place dedicated to learning and gathering.
