Northampton Guildhall

Northampton Guildhall is a town hall featuring Gothic Revival architecture, distinguished by statues of monarchs and notable figures positioned between the first-floor windows across its extended facade. The current building opened in 1864, replacing a 14th-century structure that stood at the corner of Abington Street and Wood Hill. This replacement reflects Victorian-era architectural preferences and marked a significant change in how the town presented its civic identity.
