Pwll-y-Wrach, Grade II listed house in Colwinston, United Kingdom.

Pwll-y-Wrach is a manor house in Colwinston with rubble walls and cement facing, topped with Welsh slate and featuring a sandstone porch. The estate includes two separate listed garden houses, with the western one now converted to serve as a modern pool house.

The property changed hands when Baron Mansel sold it to David Thomas, who built a new manor house around 1770. Subsequent modifications to the structure shaped its appearance over time.

The house holds a literary connection through visits by the renowned crime writer Agatha Christie, who came to see her daughter Rosalind and son-in-law Hubert Prichard. This association adds a layer of cultural significance for readers and literary enthusiasts.

The house is a private residence but can be viewed from outside with consideration for the residents. Daytime visits work best for seeing the architectural details and the garden structures clearly.

The entrance hall retains original features from its 1770 construction, including a notable fireplace and main staircase. These surviving elements offer visitors a direct look at eighteenth-century craftsmanship.
