St Botolph's Church, Skidbrooke

St Botolph's Church features limestone walls with brick additions, slate roofs, stone coped gables, and a clerestory with north and south aisles.

The church construction began in the early 13th century, with subsequent modifications made during the 14th and 15th centuries, followed by renovations in 1854 and 1871.

The interior preserves original 13th-century elements, including four-bay arcades with octagonal piers and ornate grotesque corbels flanking the east window.

The church stands in isolation approximately 7 miles northeast of Louth, west of the A1031 road, and requires £1115 annually for maintenance.

The churchyard contains war graves of a Labour Corps soldier, a World War I Coastguard, and a World War II Merchant Navy sailor.
