All Saints Church is a Gothic church in Theddlethorpe, England, featuring a four-stage west tower built of greenstone. The interior contains a nave with clerestory, north and south aisles, a chancel, and octagonal piers supporting both arcades.
The church was founded in 1101 and received its main architectural form between 1380 and 1400. Further alterations were made in the late 1600s.
The interior displays carved stone work from the 12th century with intricate details throughout. The nave roof is decorated with ornamental carvings and donor coats of arms.
The church is normally open daily, but may sometimes be closed. When this happens, you can pick up the key from the nearby Old Hall.
The building is known as the Cathedral of the Marsh, featuring gargoyles at the corners of its crenellated parapet. This unusual name reflects its grand scale in the flat, marshy landscape surrounding it.
