St. Andrew's Church, Nottingham, Anglican church in Nottingham, England.
St. Andrew's Church is a Gothic Revival building in Nottingham constructed between 1869 and 1871 with detailed stone carvings and large windows. The interior features traditional ecclesiastical design with high ceilings and ornamental stonework throughout.
The church was built during the Victorian era and served the local community for more than 150 years. In 2023 it joined with another congregation, creating a new chapter for the building and its mission.
The stained glass windows show religious stories and were made by craftspeople working in the 19th century. Visitors walking through the interior notice these artworks, which give the space a spiritual feeling.
The church holds regular services and welcomes visitors who want to explore its architecture and history. Plan time to look closely at the stonework and windows, as there is much detail to discover throughout the building.
The church organ includes pipes made in 1777 that originally came from another church in Nottingham. These historic components were installed in 1871 and represent a rare survival of an older instrument.
