Sterns Nightclub, Electronic dance music venue in Worthing, England
The three-floor nightclub occupied Highdown Towers on Highdown Hill, featuring distinct rooms dedicated to techno, house, and hardcore electronic music genres.
Opening in 1990, the establishment emerged during the rise of UK rave culture and operated until 1994, when it transformed into The Mansion House.
Notable DJs including Carl Cox, John Digweed, and The Prodigy performed at the club, which attracted 25,000 members during its peak in 1992.
The venue maintained a capacity of 900 people and organized monthly all-night events called In-Ter-Dance, running from 9 PM until 7 AM.
The phenomenon known as Sterns Rain occurred when condensation from dancing crowds dripped from the ceiling during particularly busy nights.
