The Blade, Office skyscraper in Reading, United Kingdom
The Blade features reflective glass surfaces and a pointed spire that reaches 128 meters into the sky above Reading's business district.
Completed in 2009 by Sheppard Robson architectural firm, The Blade represented a major advancement in Reading's commercial property development.
The building stands as a symbol of Reading's transformation from an industrial center to a modern business hub in the Thames Valley region.
With 14 floors spanning 10,154 square meters of office space, The Blade contains five elevators and floor-to-ceiling windows providing views across Reading.
The structure's angular glass facade creates varying reflections throughout the day, while its sharp spire marks the highest point in Berkshire.
