The Luminaire

The Luminaire was a music venue in Kilburn located above a pub, featuring an intimate concert space designed for independent artists and bands. The room was small and close to the audience, ideal for live performances with a personal touch.

The venue opened in 2005 as a conversion of a former nightclub and was run by John Donnelly and Andy Inglis. It closed in 2011 due to financial difficulties and was later converted into student housing.

The venue played an important role in supporting indie and alternative artists who performed regularly to smaller, dedicated crowds. This close connection to London's independent music scene made it a gathering place for fans and musicians alike.
