The Maltings Theatre and Cinema features two performance spaces: a main auditorium with 320 seats and a smaller studio theater with 110 seats.
The venue opened in April 1990 after converting former maltings buildings, following architectural plans by Law and Dunbar Naismith Partnership.
The theater presents over 550 annual events, including touring productions, opera performances, dance shows, community theater, music concerts, and film screenings.
The facility includes a 50-seat restaurant, a bar, and maintains regular box office hours for purchasing tickets to performances and cinema screenings.
The building stands on a hillside offering views across the historical Berwick Bridge and River Tweed estuary while serving theatrical performances.
