King Alfred's Tower, Observation tower in Brewham, United Kingdom.

The triangular red-brick tower stands 49 meters tall with three circular projections, featuring a hollow center and a spiral staircase in one corner.

Henry Hoare II commissioned the tower in 1760 to mark the conclusion of the Seven Years War and King George III's accession to the throne.

The tower bears a statue of King Alfred and commemorates his gathering with Saxon forces before the Battle of Edington in 878.

The structure includes 205 steps leading to the summit viewing platform, offering views across Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire counties.

The tower required restoration in 1986 after a Noorduyn Norseman aircraft crashed into its upper section during World War II in 1944.
