Vogrie House, Category A listed building in Midlothian, Scotland.

The Victorian baronial mansion stands with a mix of Elizabethan and Arts and Crafts architectural styles across 2,000 acres of parkland and gardens.

The Menzies family owned the property from 1426, followed by the Cockburns in 1630s, then Sir James MacLurg, and finally the Dewars whisky family in 1876.

Andrew Heiton designed this residence in 1876, incorporating sophisticated features such as a library, multiple bedrooms, and dedicated servants' quarters.

The property operates as a public country park, offering access to gardens, walking paths, and historical architecture throughout the year.

The building served as a communications center during the Cold War after its transition from a nursing home for the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
