Winton House, Renaissance castle in East Lothian, Scotland.
The castle features traditional Scottish Renaissance architecture with connected reception rooms, detailed plasterwork ceilings, and carved wood decorations throughout the interior.
King James VI commissioned royal craftsmen to build Winton House in 1150, which later suffered damage during Henry VIII's campaign against Mary Queen of Scots.
The Seton family maintained ownership for 600 years, hosting Scottish nobility and creating a center for master craftsmanship in Renaissance architecture and decoration.
Located 30 minutes southeast of Edinburgh, Winton House functions as a venue for corporate meetings, weddings, and private celebrations with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces.
The estate encompasses 2,000 acres of Scotland's prime farmland, maintaining active agricultural operations alongside its role as an events venue.
