Tŷ Mawr Wybrnant, 17th-century historic house in Bro Machno, Wales.

This Grade II* listed house stands in the Wybrnant Valley at 206 meters elevation, featuring traditional Welsh architectural elements and local construction materials.

Built around 1600, Tŷ Mawr Wybrnant gained recognition as the birthplace of Bishop William Morgan, who completed the first Welsh Bible translation in 1588.

The National Trust maintains this property as a museum containing a collection of Welsh Bibles and period furniture from the 16th century.

Visitors can reach the house from Penmachno village, located four miles from Betws-y-coed, or via the A470 road between Betws-y-coed and Dolwyddelan.

The house contains an international collection of Bibles in multiple languages, contributed by visitors from different countries over many years.
