Morpeth Clock Tower, Clock tower in Morpeth, England.
The stone tower rises 60 feet high with walls over three feet thick, situated near the Market Place and Morpeth Town Hall.
Built between 1604 and 1634, the structure incorporates medieval stones sourced from an old gatehouse at Oldgate or the former Newminster Abbey.
The tower contains six bells cast by Richard Phelps of Whitechapel Bell Foundry in 1706, which were initially intended for Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Visitors can find the Grade II listed building at coordinates 55.1675, -1.691111, with several free disc parking options in the town center.
The bells underwent recasting and received a new cast iron frame in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations.
