Park Place, English country house in Remenham, England
The estate extends across multiple acres near the River Thames, featuring gardens, ornamental structures, and architectural elements from different periods.
Frederick, Prince of Wales acquired Park Place in 1738 from Lord Archibald Hamilton, who had constructed a new villa on the site in 1719.
The estate contains Conway's Bridge, a stone structure designed by Humphrey Gainsborough in 1763, representing Georgian architectural engineering methods.
The property underwent extensive restoration work after its 2007 purchase, resulting in its sale for £140 million in 2011 as Britain's most expensive residence.
The grounds include an obelisk created from the original 17th-century spire of St. Bride's Church, designed by Christopher Wren.
