Howbery Park, English manor park in Crowmarsh Gifford, England.
Howbery Park is a 36-hectare estate along the River Thames with maintained gardens and a Grade II listed Manor House dating from 1850. The grounds provide conference facilities, parking, and an on-site restaurant.
The estate housed American and Canadian servicemen and Central European refugees during World War II. It later became the Hydraulics Research Station, shifting from military to scientific use.
The Manor House displays art exhibitions focused on environmental themes, connecting visitors with nature through creative works. These shows offer spaces where the community gathers to experience different artistic perspectives on the local landscape.
The park sits south of Oxford and north of Reading, making it accessible from both directions. Visitors will find parking, walking paths, and the restaurant for refreshment.
From the grounds, visitors can board the Howbery Spark, an electric boat with eight berths. The boat offers water tours along the Thames departing right from the estate's riverbank.
