St Anne's Church, Edge Hill, Gothic Revival church in Edge Hill, England
St Anne's Church features red sandstone walls, a slate roof, and a west tower supported by angle buttresses that extends along Overbury Street.
The structure, designed by Charles Hansom and built between 1843 and 1846 by Downside Abbey monks, received substantial additions in 1888 by Pugin and Pugin.
The church maintains its position as a Roman Catholic parish within the Liverpool Archdiocese, serving the local faith community through regular services and gatherings.
The church interior includes a six-bay nave, north and south aisles, and an apsidal three-bay chancel, with quatrefoil columns supporting the arcade structure.
A three-manual pipe organ, originally crafted by Henry Willis and Sons, remains functional within the church despite multiple renovations over the years.
