St Paul's Church, Tiverton, Grade II listed church in Tiverton, United Kingdom
St Paul's Church is a stone building from the 1800s with a prominent tower and large windows that flood the interior with natural light. The structure follows the architectural conventions of its era and appears solid and enduring in its design.
Architect George Phillips Manners designed the building in 1854 and construction was finished in 1856 with funding from John Heathcoat. The church was built during a period when many new religious buildings were being created across England.
The church serves the local community as a gathering place for worship and events throughout the year. People of different ages come together regularly to experience fellowship and celebrate significant occasions.
The building is easy to locate and the interior is laid out in a way that allows visitors to move around comfortably. It makes sense to visit during service times to experience the full community atmosphere.
Inside the church stands an organ built in 1857 by H P Dicker of Exeter, originally positioned at the western end of the building. This instrument is a notable example of 19th century craftsmanship and forms an important part of the place's musical heritage.
