Gairloch Heritage Museum, Independent museum in Gairloch, Scotland.
The museum displays maritime artifacts, geological specimens, and archaeological discoveries from the Highland region within a converted nuclear bunker building.
The museum opened in 1977 as part of the Ross and Cromarty Heritage Society and moved to its current location in a former military bunker in 2019.
The exhibition space contains the original Hyperradiant Fresnel lens from Rua Reidh Lighthouse and features a traditional Scottish croft house reconstruction.
The museum offers wheelchair access throughout the facility, a café with dietary options, a gift shop with local crafts, and family admission packages.
In 2020, the museum received the Art Fund Museum of the Year Award for its innovative approaches during the global health crisis.
