Gunton Hall

The mansion stands within a 1,000-acre deer park, featuring architectural elements designed by Matthew Brettingham in the 1740s with additions by James Wyatt.

The estate passed through several families, including the Guntons in the 12th century, the Berneys in the 16th century, and later the Jermyn family.

The Grade II* listed building represents traditional English architecture, with its conversion into individual houses preserving the structure for future generations.

After remaining derelict for nearly a century following an 1882 fire, architect Kit Martin purchased and renovated the hall in 1980.

The property includes a boathouse transformed into an artist studio in 2004, complementing the estate's architectural evolution through different periods.
