The 10.2-hectare reserve contains meadows, woodlands, and wetlands, surrounding the South West Middlesex Crematorium on three sides.
The conservation area became part of the Crane Corridor, which received designation as a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation.
The Conservation Volunteers organize weekly Green Gym sessions where local residents participate in reserve maintenance and improvement projects.
Visitors can enter the reserve through multiple access points on Pevensey Road and Hounslow Road, with a wooden bridge connecting to Little Park.
The reserve features a separate section accessible from Hounslow Road, isolated from the main area by dense vegetation growth.
