Regal Cinema

The Regal Cinema presents Egyptian Revival architectural elements with decorative ceramic tiles, a half-moon shaped proscenium, and stadium-style seating for 1,600 spectators.

Built between 1930 and 1931 by architect E Norman Bailey, this entertainment venue operated as a cinema until 1977 before transforming into different nightclub establishments.

The Compton theatre organ, installed during construction, accompanied performances and enhanced entertainment experiences throughout the building's early operational period.

Located at 233 High Street in the London Borough of Hillingdon, the structure maintains its original exterior features while the interior spaces remain partially utilized.

The cinema's stadium-style seating arrangement positioned the balcony at the rear without overhanging the stalls, creating unobstructed views throughout the auditorium.
