Church Of St Donat, Grade I listed church in St Donats, Wales
The stone structure features a rounded chancel arch, double-headed tower arch, and north chancel chapel incorporating a three-light window with square head.
Dating from 1101, the church underwent modifications in the 14th century with the addition of a tower and the Stradling Chapel, named after local baronets.
The interior contains multiple monuments commemorating the Stradling family, along with a circular font decorated with scale patterns and stained glass windows.
The building stands at an elevation of 17.6 meters in a depression near St Donats Castle, which now functions as Atlantic College.
The churchyard contains a complete 15th-century preaching cross and walls partially dating from the 17th century with original railings.
