The neoclassical structure at 1 Low Street features ashlar stone construction, sash windows, and a prominent steeple completed in 1767.
The building replaced a 16th-century tolbooth, with the town house section constructed in 1797 at a cost of £1,700 through public contributions.
The complex housed the Banff Museum from 1828 to 1838 and retained its position as a central administrative facility until 1996.
Following a £1.75 million renovation in 2015, the building now functions as a customer service point and job centre for local residents.
A Russian cannon captured during the Crimean War stands in front of the building, placed there in 1901 as a historical monument.
