Duthil, Old Parish Church And Churchyard, Medieval church and burial ground in Highland, Scotland
The stone church features traditional Scottish ecclesiastical design elements, with galleries sloping down from three walls and a raised central pulpit on the south wall.
Built around 1400 and dedicated to St Peter, the church underwent multiple reconstructions, with the current structure dating from 1826 following the demolition of a pre-Reformation chapel.
The churchyard contains numerous memorials of Clan Grant members, including a memorial tablet for Field Marshal Sir Patrick Grant and two family mausolea.
The church closed for regular services in 1967, leading to the transfer of its interior furnishings to the former Carrbridge United Free Church.
The Seafield Mausoleum, constructed between 1837 and 1839, held its final interment in 1911 before being permanently sealed according to Lady Caroline Stuart's will.
