Easton Methodist Church, Protestant church in Easton, Portland, England
The twin-spired Methodist church features rock-faced Portland stone construction with ashlar dressings and accommodates up to 900 people in its spacious interior.
Constructed between 1906 and 1907 at a cost of £7,000, the church emerged from the growing Methodist population during Portland Harbour's breakwater construction period.
The interior includes a three-bay nave, galleries, mosaic floors, and a grand organ positioned behind a tall molded painted arch with a Portland stone pulpit.
The church maintains regular services as part of the Portland Methodist Circuit and provides space for community gatherings and events for its 120 members.
The architectural design combines late muscular Gothic elements with Art Nouveau details, including a central doorway executed in French High Gothic style.
