Hammersmith Police Station, Police station in Hammersmith, England.

Hammersmith Police Station is a three-story building at 226 Shepherds Bush Road with pink narrow bricks, Portland stone details, and Cornish granite at the base. Metal casements sit within timber surrounds, and traditional blue police lamps hang from iron brackets along the facade.

Donald McMorran designed this Grade II listed building in 1939 as a police station. The structure reflects British architecture of the interwar period and retains its original character.

The entrance hall holds a war memorial honoring officers from F Division who died between 1939 and 1945. This commemorative space reflects the building's role as a community institution with deep local roots.

The station underwent major renovation work completed in 2020 and now includes updated facilities for operations. The building combines its historic design with modern infrastructure to serve contemporary needs.

The building follows a long rectangular plan divided by two internal courtyards that separate public and operational spaces. This layout was characteristic of purpose-built institutional buildings from that era.
