Plas Cadnant

Plas Cadnant is a roughly 5-hectare estate with a Georgian house built in 1803 and garden areas connected by pathways and water features. The listed buildings on the grounds contain self-catering cottages and combine historical architecture with landscape design.

The Georgian house was constructed in 1803 by John Price, marking the start of this estate. After declining over decades, the entire property underwent restoration beginning in 1990 that transformed its future.

The gardens reflect early 19th century design choices that blend with the surrounding Welsh countryside. You can see how different parts of the property connect and work together as one space.

The grounds are open to visitors with parking available on site and a tea room for refreshments. Wear comfortable shoes as the paths cross the estate at different levels.

The estate underwent a complete restoration that converted historic buildings into rental accommodations. Despite this transformation, the property retains its original character and landscape setting.
