The Tilbury

The Tilbury is a Grade II listed pub in Datchworth featuring traditional brick construction with architectural details from the early 1700s. The building contains several dining spaces and a garden terrace for guests.

The building was previously known as The Inn on the Green and The Three Horseshoes before taking its current name. It received Grade II listing recognition for its architectural importance in Britain's heritage buildings.

The pub is run by brothers James and Tom Bainbridge, who focus on refined British cooking and have built a strong reputation in the area for their work in the kitchen.

The pub is open Wednesday through Sunday with evening service on weekdays and lunch service on weekends. Visitors have access to parking for about 35 vehicles on the grounds.

The kitchen balances contemporary British cooking with traditional pub fare, keeping most dishes under 25 pounds on the menu. Young diners are offered specially prepared portions designed for their needs.
