Liberty Bell is a symbol of American independence, located at the Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia.

Commissioned in 1752, the Liberty Bell rang when the Declaration of Independence was read aloud on July 8, 1776.

The bell's inscription 'Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof' has been used to promote different groups' causes.

It’s open from 9am-5pm and there’s no entrance fee.

Despite its large crack, it was last rung for George Washington's Birthday in 1846.
