Forevertron, Metal sculpture park in Sumpter, Wisconsin, US
The Forevertron is a colossal metal sculpture in Sumpter composed of salvaged industrial equipment and machinery parts. The structure resembles an enormous spacecraft assembled from recycled materials and assembled technical components.
A former demolition worker started collecting machinery parts in the 1980s and constructed this monumental metal structure as a personal project. The work emerged from decades of passion for mechanical assembly and building from salvaged finds.
The sculpture represents a community space where visitors witness industrial waste transformed into public art. People come here to see how discarded machinery becomes a gathering place and a statement about resourcefulness.
The site is accessible Thursday through Monday via an adjacent store where visitors can view the sculpture. It is best to wear sturdy shoes and plan time to explore this unusual outdoor installation thoroughly.
Embedded within the metal structure is a small tea house gazebo featuring historical figures observing this space-age fantasy. This detail transforms the sculpture into a storytelling artwork that blends everyday life with imagination.
